Ingenious Media Active Capital Limited invests £7.5 million in QobliQ. QobliQ to acquire brandRapport.

Ingenious Media Active Capital Limited ('IMAC') has announced today a first round investment of up to £7.5m in a new company called QobliQ Limited ('QobliQ'). Qobliq was formed with the aim of creating the leading international innovative marketing services group, combining sponsorship, digital and experiential marketing to provide brands with an integrated innovative marketing solution.
The management team of QobliQ is led by Xavier Quattrocchi-Oubradous and Roland Giscard d'Estaing, who founded Sponsorclick France SARL, a Paris-based sponsorship consultancy, and who both have backgrounds in M&A and investment banking.
QobliQ has today completed its first acquisition, for a mixture of cash and equity, of Passhold Ltd, the holding company of brandRapport Limited ('brandRapport'), the leading independent sponsorship agency in the UK. The balance of IMAC's investment will fund the working capital requirements of QobliQ.
Patrick Bradley, Director of Ingenious Ventures, Manager of IMAC, said: 'brandRapport is going to be the cornerstone in our plan to build QobliQ as an international innovative marketing services group'.
